Subject: Aggramar - an answer please
   Hello

I wish to register a complaint about the performance of the Aggramar server in recent months.

We have been suffering from a large number of lag spikes and random disconnects - both in normal world, and instances. Recently there have been a number of un-announced server restarts, and occasions when it has taken longer than an hour to be able to log on.

On our guild website, we are discussing the possibility of us ALL using the paid transfer service to move to another server. I feel this is unacceptable that we consider paying Blizzard a further fee to get moved to a reliable server. However, at this moment, our guild progress (we have cleared MC and BWL, and are now *trying* to embark on AQ40) is being hampered.

I, like many in our guild, and on Aggramar, have been playing on this server since the first day of retail. I am sure that quite a few of these players also partook in some of the EU beta tests as well. We have supported the World of Warcraft game, and would now like to get some support back.

I would like to know what Blizzard plan to do about some of the reliability problems that is seems several of the older servers are experiencing; when are you planning on upgrading the hardware, and; what can you tell us to assure us that the service will improve, and that we will soon be able to put 30 second lag spikes whilst fighting instance bosses behind us.

I appreciate that there are many fellow players on other servers experiencing similar problems - if you would like add any words about the problems you are experiencing, please feel free to contribute.

Thank you

We're aware of players on Aggramar experiencing such issues. We would like to gather some information from you. Please see this post for details:

Q u o t e:
Why traceroute when it's so so so clearly not us?

Nobody said it was you. A traceroute can also pinpoint an entry point to our site to limit the area we need to search on to find a fault. Asking for a traceroute does not mean we think it's your computer, your ISP or affecting only your country or region.

Edit: typo (fro/for)
