Since maintenance last week, thousands of customers have been unable to connect to the realms which were migrated to a new data centre. It does not look like there will be a fix before maintenance tomorrow, and from what's happened so far I don't think there'll be a fix during maintenance either.
Is this unprecedented for blizz/telia, to allow such a serious error with their networks to continue for an entire week?
I know that there's been people without service for longer, due to not knowing how to use a computer etc, and I know there's been major problems between ISPs and blizz in the past, but this time it's fairly and squarely 100% blizzard's fault, yet they have no fix, and seem to have no idea what they've done to break their realms.
The last update we had on this was on Friday, where they took all the effected realms down for maintenance for a projected 2 hours, which ran on for 8 hours in full.
The servers came back up, we all breathed a sigh of relief, but... they didn't fix the problem.
There has been no updated from blizzard since, apart from a blue on monday saying "investigation ongoing".
To add insult to injury, this same problem occured 1 month ago in the States, the exact same problem following a data centre migration, but the problem was solved within hours.
So, I ask again, one week (at least) without service (unless I wanna play my lvl 8 alt on al'akir), is this the new record?

though you sound like you have a diffrent opinion,wana share it?(thats what forums are for=))
No no, don't get me wrong. Just because something might not be Blizzard's fault, that doesn't automatically mean players are to blame for anything.. there are so many factors, Blizz and players are just two of them.
