Subject: new pvp realm argueents compilation
Firstly the arguements for there being a new realm

Q u o t e:
Firstly most of the people reading this will think it's another thread for a new realm, imp not saying it isn't, but it's constructive in a way to show why a new PVP realm should be released.

Migration

As many of you know Blizzard have been trying to sort older servers out by creating migration for players away from them to other realms, and to be honest the realms that have had migration away from them have become totally deserted, reasons for why most people migrated away ill say later. So when all the migration took place did Blizzard migrate all of these servers to low population or recommended realms? I don't think so, the creation of realms such as Tarren mill have made many of the older realms be put on the recommended list.

Why people migrated

On all of the older servers now that are receiving migration, the main reason why people want to migrate away from them is because of very high queues at peak times and the instability of the servers the realms are situated on to remain 100% efficient. Remember all the whiners when the realms kept going down every 5 minutes? It isn't just on the realms that are scheduled for migration with this problem, allot of realms that have not even been considered for migration still have high queues at peak times and constant Dc's. Fun to play on eh?

Why people want to re-roll

Ok many people want to re roll for different reason, ill try and put every reason here why that is

- Previous server laggy unstable and constant dc's
- Start fresh on a different faction
- Create a new guild and try to make it a success
- Be the 1st to achieve things on a new server
- Meet new people
- Be equal to every one else, and not be looked down upon because you haven't got full epics
- Some are just chronic re rollers.

Why not a recommended realm

Look down the recommended list and say which realms are good for re rolling on for a fresh start, I can name 2 Jaednar and Bolderfist. All of the other realms are either old servers that had migration away from them, Old servers that are having migration to them as migration away from them destroyed them. Some are mainly occupied by one speaking language, e.g. Stone maul hence why the Dune maul --> Stone maul migration failed. So from all the recommended realms threes 2 suitable, so don't post go roll on one of the 16 recommended realms as only 2 are suitable great choice for new starters or people wanting to start fresh.

So why not open a new PVP realm, Blizzard recently opened a PVE realm but its population is still low, because this wasn't needed.

If you post to this with a stupid comment like NO or roll a recommended don't post at all, Or if you do state a reason why no new PVP realm is needed against a point I have not already stated

Q u o t e:
think the reason why there is such demand for pvp server is that.

1. more people play pvp

2. there hasnt been a pvp realm for a long time

3. there is no suitable pvp realms avaliable to reroll on. already explained further up the topic

personally i dont think there is any reason outside of this.

Q u o t e:

If you play on an old established server you will know what its like trying to create a hardcore raiding guild from fresh, its hard as most of the serious players you need are already guilded

Q u o t e:
Alot of you that are saying roll on an old realm, obviously dont know the thrill of a new realm. its amazing when you start levelling and EVERYBODY on the server is in your shoes, instead of people covered in epics running round on their epic mounts and idle'ing by the post box just to see how many 'nooobs' come and stand there and inspect them.

You have a chance to play part in the servers economy, easy to meet new people and get in new groups. And whos saying its not nice to get server firsts. Be that of a Krol blade or nefarian, we all like to have something on our character that makes us uniqe, and with a new server it opens up chances that old servers have allready lost.

Q u o t e:
There are soo many people that want a fresh start, me included.

Q u o t e:
New pvp realm is defonantly needed, all this 10-12 recommended realms is bollocks theyve died through migration or are to far progressed to be worth attempting to start the heavy grind from 1-60 to find out you cant get into the zg/mc raiding guilds because theyre full and your not "well" equiped

Q u o t e:
To all ones that are sayin that there are a lot of reccomended PvP server I would like to add this:

Bladefist - 16 months old
Boulderfist - 2months old, opened some days after Vek'nilash: useless and dead.
Burning Blade - 16 months old
Daggerspine - 16 months old
Dentarg - 7 months old: it is reccomended since release, never filled.
Dragonmaw - 16 months old
Emeriss - 6 months old: migration server (?)
Haomarush - 12 months old
Jaedenar - 2 months old: released 2weeks after Vek'Nilash, was needed? Never filled.
Kazzak - 13 months old: migration server.(heard something like 65%/35% A/H)
Laughing Skull - 9 months old: dead.(heard about long queues for bg)
Mazrigos - 6 months old: migration server (?).
Stonemaul - 13 months old
Talnivarr - 6 months old: migration server (?).
Vek'nilash - 2 months old: only nice one.
Xavius - 5 months old: released 1-2 weeks after Anh'Qiraj, wasn't needed.

Q u o t e:
I just got off the phone with Kofi Annan. He also want's anew PvP realm.

Q u o t e:
A story
I rerolled on Magtheridon. It was a migration server so all the guilds already pretty much had tier 2 equip. I leveld a shaman up to level 60. I farmed superior items and did some battlegrounds when I hit level 60. Eventually I got bored and wanted to raid. But it was virtually impossible to get a guild on magtheridon unless you have epic items. The end game guilds will reject you if you're not geared. How can new players actually get geared if end game guilds require tier 1 and over? the answer? they can't. I have a shaman on Magtheridon which I haven't played in months. My time on that character was wasted.

I then rolled on Chromaggus, which was a new server that came out just before christmas. On this server I started 2 weeks after the server went live. I hit level 60 in about a month. And even though I was playing a popular class (NE Hunter) I still found a end game raiding guild very easily. one week after I hit level 60 I was raiding MC and then BWL was experiencing end game content. The truth is alot of old servers don't deserve new players. Alot of the "uber" guilds have the wrong mentality and are not welcoming enough to the new players in their community. And so players realise the best way to get to the end game content with a class that is some what popular is to start on a fresh server from the very beginning.

If people want new servers then Blizzard should offer these servers to their cusomters. For the ghost town realms. They should just offer migration to these people and shut them down. Or try to merge the realms. because no one that understand how these servers work are going to reroll on a ghost town.

Q u o t e:
new realms are llike new cities. There's plenty of oppertunity at level 60 to access end game content.

Q u o t e:
And i have noticed that the Advantages of opening one clearly outweigh the disadvantages. Only problem is 4 weeks and still no PvP realm. Time for me to stop asking? And perhaps quit for a while? After all people like me wont ever be missed and our opinions will never be considered. So why try?

Q u o t e:
I almost feel so useless post in any thread, even blue tagged, since after all they won't listen: they will just go on with their weird way to manage this thing.

Then leave the thread alone and let those who consider it useful to post in peace.

Thank you.

Edit: this is meant as a general advice, not to say the person quoted is in error in his views or worse then others in his conduct. Basically, stick to the topic and be constructive, or simply just don't post.
