Yeah, note the obvious pun in the title but what was the first experience when you first started playing the game and you simply felt WOW that's amazing, or that feeling you get when something really good happens.
I'd have to say the first time I walked over the bridge into Stormwind walking past the huge statues, and the Stormwind city music kicks in, it didn't half send tingles down my spine.
I also have a very close second favourite which I am sure a few other share, the first time you get to the end of the DeadMines and see the pirate ship, I instantly thought "Goonies".

I think the first time that WoW made me go WOW was when I died the first time⦠I think that the whole ghostly feel and the death black/white effects are so amazing. I got a bit scared the first time I saw the spirit healer though :-)

Q u o t e: I can remember feeling sort of 'OH MY GOD!' the first time I used a flying mount - from Stormwind to Westfall if I remember.
I also remember the sense of awe I felt in leaving Elwynn Forest for the first time at around lvl 6 and walking into Westfall at night.
The place scared the bejesus out of me - distant horizon, spooky empty music and those nightmarish harvesters (the monsters not the awful UK pub chain, though they scare me too :P). Ran like hell back to the safety of Northshire !!
Oouh I remember that feeling... That was awesome :-)
