We're aware of the queues on Frostmane and Grim Batol at the moment. Though the population is high we do not plan to close the migration before the scheduled closing time as the big majority of those wishing to migrate do so on the first few days.
Please keep in mind that destination realms tend to have a higher activity during and after the migration. This also makes queues more persistent at first, meaning it takes longer time to get onto the realm. We do expect the population to fall a bit over time.
The caps on these two realms are scheduled to be increased next week, to the regular level. We'll strongly consider moving that to tomorrow (Friday) instead, soon after the closing of the migration at 15:00 CEST.
We will of course address over-population on destination realms. We'll discuss this tomorrow (Friday), further analyze the numbers, and keep you informed about our plans.

We were aware of a lot of players moving from Burning Blade. The total number so far is however much higher than indicated by the number of guilds and their member count. That 'unknown' number is hard to predict. For Burning Blade and Dragonmaw it has unfortunately been very high.

What annoys me even more is you try and justify these ques of over 1000 are due to people trying the new servers, are you trying to kid us or yourself?
I'm by no means trying to justify a queue of 1000+, nor did I say it's because people are trying out the realm. It is a fact that destination realms tend to have higher activity during and just after the migration than what they stabilize on over time. A 1000+ queue is too high though. See my above answer.

I consider that a strong possibility. I would actually be interested in knowing whether anybody would consider moving on to yet another realm from Frostmane, or whether everybody's of the opinion that they will stay now. Input on that is much appreciated as it may affect the decision.

It has been decided that migration to Frostmane and Grim Batol will not be open on Friday May 19th. While this won't solve the current queues, it should help a little on not increasing them. We'll keep you posted on other solutions for the over-population.[ post edited by Thundgot ]

Thanks. Then again, one of course doesn't want too many to migrate either, making Grim Batol and/or Frostmane low population realms over time. Currently a two-day migration from each sounds likely.

If we go for a migration solution I'll make sure we have presence in the related realm forums to get an overview of the migration and encourage an appropriate amount of players and guilds to migrate. We neither want too many or too few moving.
Edit: I'll make a note to include faction balance in the recommendations too, if this will be the solution. Please note that we will only recommend and encourage. We will not have limitations on who can migrate.[ post edited by Thundgot ]

Update 10:00 CEST, May 19th - new migration
Due to the high population on Frostmane and Grim Batil we've decided to open migration from these two realms to a new realm next week. This realm will be shared with two of the realms that will migrate next week, and we do not wish to have a huge amount of players move off Frostmane and Grim Batol - just enough to get rid of the queues.
The new realm will be named Tarren Mill. Which other two realms that will move there will be decided later today, but none of the four realms migrating next week have indicated a huge migration at this time.
Migration will be open from Frostmane on monday and possibly Tuesday, and from Grim Batol on Thursday and possibly Friday.
We'll start threads in the Frostmane and Grim Batol forums to get input and provide feedback on the number of players planning to move.[ post edited by Thundgot ]
