Subject: All druid Onyxia raid! Take 2.
Back when 1.8 first came out on test, we gave this a shot, feeling our oats so to speak. And though we didn't end up taking the big bird down, it went quite well. Twenty-nine noble druids, who had, up until that day, never met, raided together, or (for the most part) seen each others' name managed to take Onyxia down to 54% without the aid of any other class, and with surprising ease, considering there were only 29 of us. Alas, subsequent attempts didn't garner the same turnout, but I am confident that with a full raid of druids, we can easily take down Onyxia. And so, I'd like to try it again on the 1.10 test server.

There will indeed be video of the event (there is video of the last one, but due to my being busy with school, it was never completed and published, so it will be joined with this attempt for publishing), which will make your names forever go down in the history of WoW, like that one guy who ran into all those drakes in UBRS... what was his name again?

I will be mostly in charge of organizing the horde PvP server raid, as my druid is, well... on a horde PvP server. But, I can't do all this myself. First off, I have no real way of setting up some kind of signup sheet. I'm going to try and get ahold of the kind soul who aided me in that regard last time, but if anyone else has a way to make a way for people to sign up online, I'd appreciate it. I also may need the use of a ventrilo or Teamspeak server if one is available, for just the few hours this will take.

But, most importantly, I'd like 3 noble volunteers from the other test-server groups to volunteer to lead raids on their respective servers/factions to do the impossible: Kill Onyxia with just one class in the raid. I need someone on the alliance side on a PvP server, and a person each on the horde and alliance side of a PvE server.

There are many things to get organized for this task, getting the appropriate potions (FR potions, mana/healing potions, maybe a flask for our MT) among them. Finding a suitable main tank is important as well, so some way of allowing candidates for the MT job to send their stats to the raid leaders would be nice.

As of yet, this is purely preparatory. The amount of organization that it took last time was more than I expected, making our raid relatively disorganized and difficult to run, which is really the only reason we failed on our attempt (we had 2 deep breaths, up 'till that point, no one had even died). I'd like to get some of this stuff out of the way early, so the bulk of the time we're on the test server can be spent actually doing the raid stuff. When it gets nearer, we can actually schedule a specific time to pull this off, and get the specifics hammered out.

If anyone's interested in helping me organize this, feel free to contact me, either by posting here, or by sending me an instant message on AIM (username is "Funhoofs" appropriately enough). Lets get this thing off the ground, I want a much bigger turnout this time!
