There I said it...
As long as that skill exists druids are gonna be pigeonholed into going Restoration. Please note I am not complaining about having to heal in MC/BWL, because every class that can does. I can still heal reguardless of spec though. Unforunatly that will never be enough as long as Innervate exists in its current form.
Please make Innervate do a 100% increase, or make self target only.
You toned down Mortal Shots in the MM tree (hunters) for the exact same reason. The reason was somthing along the lines of "We wanted hunters to be able to experiment with other Talents. Mortal Shots was just TOO good not to have, and made it a nessecity for any build."
Also, please dont say, well it your guilds problem, not a druids. My guild is the farthest in BWL (alliance side) on my server. So obviously we know how to raid.
Innervate is detrimental to the druid class, with it we will always be second-hand priests.[ post edited by Nyctel ]

It's difficult to change the perceptions of people in the game.
Nonetheless, that is what you need to work on regarding Innervate. The developers have no plans to my knowledge to change the talent. While many players are of the mind that Innervate is necessary to complete dungeons, it's untrue. It will be up to Druids in 1.8 to convince their raid leaders to branch out and experiment with various builds. It's not going to be easy; I know this. We can't patch in something that modifies player perception, however -- that's something that can't be changed in code.
Rather than call for a nerf to a viable talent (or a buff -- I've seen people ask for Innervate as a trainable skill, which, again, probably isn't going to happen), work instead on the perceptions of your guild. I'm sure they've gotten far with Innervate, but they can operate without it -- it's just going to take a bit of willing experimentation on their part.

I was specced Restoration because we didn't have any Priests at the time, not because my guild felt Innervate was a required and necessary part of the process. Times have changed since, and I personally plan on respeccing away from Innervate in 1.8.
