I said that the developers implemented a new type of item in 1.8 that helps scale Druid feral damage a bit. Naturally that's not going to be shown in the talent changes. ;)

I was in the highest PvP gear available and had Herald of Woe equipped. When I equipped a new item with this particular change on it -- a weapon -- my DPS went up considerably, just as it did with every build I tried. ;)

Argh.
I know it's difficult, but please folks, don't get hyped up about this and speculate into the sky. You'll only end up disappointed on that path. Keep your expectations grounded. There's a new effect for items that aids in Druid feral damage scaling -- and no, I can't give you more information than that.

Er.
I said it was a weapon in my particular case, fairly clearly, actually. My statement of using Herald of Woe was to show that even a nice, feral Druid mace like Herald of Woe was lesser in comparison to this new weapon.
