The Cenarion Circle felt that the power inherent in the storm was too intriguing to be left to a small subset of their researchers. Trainers everywhere have been given orders to instruct their pupils in the ways of summoning such a storm.

While this in itself was a boon to all Druids, the increased use and study of this spell caused the innovative members of the Circle to find a way to summon the storm away from one's body...

Q u o t e:
Is it a channeled spell after the patch?

aoe'ing for a group as a warlock pretty much requires the talent that makes your channeled aoe spell more difficult to interrupt (70% chance to avoid interruption for warlocks, for example).

I'm excited about being an option for a group's aoe'ing.

Warlocks don't have Barkskin. :P
