Subject: New Patch Coming: And still the same old...
...crap! Frostshock still doesn't debuff when we shift!

What is with this Caydiem?! It was clearly mention that when we got Barkskin and improvements to our other forms that we'd also be able to remove Frost Shock when we shift. I believe it was said that it was never intended to stay on when we shift due to real world understanding that we would essentially 'shed' the frost from our bodies when we change shapes.

Where is that fix?! It's been now 3 or 4 patches and still I can't shake the cold!!!

I'm very upset. Please make it better. :'(
"What part of zug-zug didn't you understand?!"

It's still being worked on. Folks, I know looking at the patch notes is rather disheartening this time, being that there's nothing really in there for Druids... but the class has not been forgotten, and everything I've stated is still in the works.

Q u o t e:
Suggestion: caydiem, until blizzard gets around to doing these things, let us trade in our druids for an equal level character of a different class with equal equip:

Example if I were a level 60 druid with all wildheart i could trade it in for a priest with all of devout... etc etc.

Since its clear that this stuff isnt gonna get resolved any time soon and we are a low priority, let us trade in our chars for a higher priority class.

This way bliz wont have to listen to our complaints in the interim.

We will not be doing this at this time.

The Druid class, by and large, is where the designers want it to be. There are still some tweaks to be made -- such as with Feral Combat -- but on the whole, the class is fairly balanced.

If its current iteration does not appeal to you and you are waiting for a large, dramatic change, I apologize, but I do not believe you will be getting such a thing.

With all due respect, Vestri, the design team does not primarily design based on player feedback. We do let them know your concerns and they do take them into consideration, but they have their own design. It is what they are paid to do, after all. They are taking the long and overall view. :)

Q u o t e:
Cay maybe the obvious disatisfaction of the druid community is a sign that maybe the devs should NOT be happy?

We've got a small small voice on these boards... we're not a very popuated class. We dont get 50 pag petitions and so on because we dont have that kind of backing and lots of people are frustrated but dont speak up...

I gurantree druids as a whole arent happy with the flow of the class and little minor things like no weapon procs in feral forms. Feral talents (which youve said is being fixed) and that we're considered nothing more than a healbot... a balance spec druid isnt very welcome even if it is slightly more so than a feral druid.

Why would the devs be happy when a shaman can out nuke us? Im not talking shocks im talking just straight up lighting bolt... i mean... better mele e better spells and a hybrid? why play a druid then? Its these little questions that make us so upset and honestly alot of us wanted you to be our champion and be as frustrated as we are. But you just smile and tell us to be patient...

Dont you ever get worked up about any of this? I dont buy it when you say you're happy... because all the lvl 60s i talk to have some frustration or another.

Believe it or not, Vestri, I am quite happy with the way my Druid performs. Mind you, my own happiness is not a factor when it comes to the design team's changes to the class. It's simply something I can relate to you. While some Druids I speak with in game do have some understandable gripes, overall there is not one I've spoken with who believes the class is horribly broken.

I understand you're not happy as is, but the development team is overall pleased with where the class is at this time. The changes I've mentioned in the past are still going to go through, and they'll be working on class quests eventually, etc., but the class is not getting a huge revamp. If that isn't what you want to hear, I'm sorry, but it's the reality of things.

Etain, I have been full feral spec, as a matter of fact. I respecced because my guild had a shortage of healers, but I have played a full Feral Combat specced Druid extensively and I do know quite a bit about it.

They're going to be reviewing that talent tree, but do not expect huge changes. Also, I am fairly certain they will not make weapons proc in Feral form.

This coming from a druid who left the feral arts at the behest of his/her guild simply because they said feral druids stunk. Apparently she must have agreed because she did a complete respec, and is now a healbot. And yet she still thinks the druid class is fine..........good one ace, some of us still remeber your older build...

Never once did I or the rest of my guild think Feral Druids "stink" or anything of the kind, nor have I ever said such a thing.

My guild is small. We were -- and still are -- short on healers. Originally, in fact, I was the only Druid and we had no Priests whatsoever. Since we needed someone to step up and take the primary healer role, I respecced and went Restoration, but to this day I still miss quite a few things from the Feral Combat tree.

Do not assume, please.
