Subject: The current state of the LFG channel
Could I ask what the official Blizzard stance is regarding abuse of the Looking For Group channel?

Essentially, it seems that whilst the LFG channel is a fantastic tool, it has become (certainly on my server) the playground for some of the less considerate members of the WoW community.

Indeed, some use the LFG as there own personal attention seeking channel.

Often I am told 'just ignore them' but frankly their numbers are become too profuse to simply ignore and even when the main culprits are /ignored the collateral spam that eventuates is disturbing.

We have one player in particular that would easily win the "most hated player" award on the server. Despite many complaints and people saying "I reported him" he still appears every day and begins his hours long ritual of drama generation. He actually seems to thrive on it.

Thank you for listening to my rant.

Kind regards,

Jhared of Smolderthorn

If you feel that any players are abusing the LookingForGroup channel to harass other players, please report them to a Game Master by submitting an in-game petition. The LookingForGroup channel is currently considered to be working properly; however, if you would like to see it's functionality altered in any way, I would ask you to post your ideas and suggestions on our Suggestions Forum. Thank you and good luck.
There's someone in my head, and its not me...
