Subject: Rolling Restarts - 8/3/06
   We have developed a hotfix to address issues with equipment and enchantments disappearing from players inventories. Because we feel this is a pressing issue, we are performing rolling restarts for all realms. While normally we do not like interrupting service during peak hours, we feel it is necessary to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. The rolling restarts shall commence shortly.

   As soon as we conclude our testing of the results of these restarts, we will provide you all with an update on the item enchantment issue. Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

   UPDATE 6:55 PM PDT- Restarts have been completed and initial reports seem to indicate resolution for this matter. Thank you again for bearing with us during this issue. Should you still appear to be experiencing an issue relating to enchantments applied to items over the last twenty-four hours, please submit an in-game petition describing the issue for further review by our Game Master staff.

This does sound as if it is entirely unrelated to the rolling restarts performed this evening. Can you provide me with the level 60 hunter's name and realm, Morindrel?

Thank you, Morindrel. Please have her submit an in-game petition from her remaining character on Eonar, as it does appear Murasaki has been deleted. After some investigation, our Game Master staff should be able to determine whether or not the account may have become compromised. If this ends up being the situation, I encourage you to review the following thread:
