Subject: Is this considered a casino?
A certain player on my realm will create level one alts and supply them with items and wrapping paper, he will wrap the items and spam a macro saying if you give him 10g he will trade you a wrapped present wich is supposedly garunteed to be rare or better. He/she claims the money goes towards his/her mount/guild. seeing as it is based on luck that you will recieve an item worthwhile out of the trade, because he has no idea what item he is giving you without reopening the prize first, it seems it should be considered against the rules. Is this considered a casino or is it reportable?

The practice you've described, Hugglebunny, would indeed be considered a "casino" for the sake of our policies. Due both to the large amount of repeatedly similar messages (i.e. "spam") that are created by these activities, as well as the fact that no regulatory measures are in place to curb the vast potential for scamming, this is definitely something we would encourage you to bring to our attention for further investigation. Thanks for your diligence in reporting these matters to us, friend, and please continue to do so. :)
That's why they call me Mr. Fahrenheit...
