Subject: Status of Account Closure Inquiry?
I am writing this on behalf of a friend and guildmate, who had her account permanently banned out of nowhere.

A brief insight on what had happened was that she logged out of her 58 shaman for a brief while, and when she logged back on she was unable to. She expressed her surprise and frustration over Ventrilo, reporting that the login screen that her account had been banned permanently and that she should check her email. She did, and found that her account had been banned for "multiple trends in intentionally exploitative behavior." We were utterly confounded by this, as none of us have witnessed her engage in such behavior and had never been warned in game. The e-mail stated multiple trends, and one would assume if this had been a reaccuring problem, she would have been warned before. This did not occur, and she has never recieved any such warnings. Just a sudden, permanent ban. As you can imagine, the guild and I were just as surprised as she was.

She and our guildmates strongly believe this ban was reached in error, and she wrote a proposal to wowaccountadmin a few hours later, explaining her confusion as to why this had happened.

It has been nearly 48 hours since she has sent her e-mail to wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com with absolutely no response--automated or live. Is there any way to know if her situation is at the very least being considered, or if she should resubmit her proposal by the online form, versus directly emailing wowaccountadmin?

I would appreciate it if someone from customer service could inquire into her situation. Her main character is level 58 Tauren Shaman, named Biscuits from the Sen'Jin realm.

Thank you for your time.

The owner of the account in question must await a response from our Account Administration department. All inquiries received by this department will get a response. I'm unable to provide any additional updates on this matter, particularly since this is a third party inquiry.
And I feel this coming over like a storm again

Q u o t e:
Thank you for the reply, Batta!

Though I still wonder on her behalf if it would be wise to submit her inquiry again on the form as "follow-up" if it has been over 72 hours?

Also, is her account subject to deletion if by some chance matters take quite some time to resolve?

I have confirmed that we have received her original email reply; therefore, a follow-up email will not be needed. A response from our Account Administration department can take several days; however, they will absolutely respond to her inquiries. No matter the timespan, the account will not be subject to any sort of deletion. I hope that better addresses your concerns. ; )
