Subject: Newbie Question
My wife and I just started playing WOW. We each wanted to start with a different race (both Alliance) and still want to group together. Is there any simple way of getting to another starting area. I choose a dwarf and she choose a night elf.

Or should we both just make the same race to start with?

(I tried posting this in the general discussion but it doesn't seem to be up).

Thanks

Not to worry, Craddix; it should be possible for you and your wife to play together, despite the fact that you are starting in different areas.

To play together, one (or both) of you will need to make a difficult trek across the Wetlands; but with a little determination (and a healthy dose of luck), you will eventually make it there on foot. You could also try asking a friendly Mage if they would be so kind as to create a portal to Darnassus for you, or your wife could try asking for one to Ironforge. Either way, I wish you the best of luck with your journey! :)
