My account was hacked about a month ago, and I lost everything on my characters. To make a long story short, I ended up receiving an e-mail making me aware of the items I was eligible to have put on my account. So without going into too much painless detail that would only provoke "TLDR" comments, I would like to thank the following people:
Kaone, Pavonum, Batta, Berghe - for answering questions on this forum about my account's status
Jealdar - for helping me intially with the account by instructing me on what steps to take, and being very apologetic (as if it was his fault), I appreciate it
Account Management Department specifically Lazuula - for unlocking my account on a Sunday when I was sure I would have to wait until Monday in order to play again (within hours of receiving my fax I might add)
Hanthor - for an e-mail telling me which items were available for a restore when I wanted them, although he did get my server confused (Daggerspine instead of Kel'thuzad, but this was fixed in my reply)
Vulpiraux - for a friendly e-mail when my items were restored informing me what had been restored
Chalanya - for assisting me in-game and helping me find a way to fix my system
Anyways, just thought I'd let everyone know that if they wait long enough, Blizzard will definitely do everything in its power to assist you. I have always been impressed by this company. Granted it may have taken a month, but this isn't an easy process, and there are 6 mil + players. Anyways, mad props and I hope you guys keep it up, apparently you're doing something right![ post edited by Eucharist ]
