Subject: Unfair results, may result in a lawsuit?
(This is a friend posting for a friend who cannot log onto forums).

The situation. He formed a group, the leader was changed so that the other player could add his friend - after he added his friend he booted my friend.

Naturally, my friend being angry, swore at him, making no threats, just bad language out of anger. The player who reported him had the oppurtunity to ignore, but instead wanted to report him. Which is fine.

My friend, had never been reported before, and had never been n trouble with blizzard before. This was his first offense and it was minor and should have ended with a warning. Instead his account was frozen immediatly. Before his account was frozen he got mail (in game) saying that an email was sent to him. No email was recieved. He checked over the policies and this situation is unfair, caused by false information from the player to the GM, or the GM not doing his job right. He would like a response to this forum ASAP.

I'm more than happy to look into the matter further, Kanwi, but I'll need some information from you. Can you give me the name and realm of a character on your friend's account?

I've delved into the situation, Kanwi, and it would appear that your friend's account is "frozen" because his subscription has run out; once he inputs valid credit card information (or a gamecard, if he so desires) via the Account Management page (to which I shall link below), he should be square. His inability to log in has naught to do with the violation of policy for which he has received a warning, of that you may rest assured; I do, however, apologise for any confusion which may have been caused due to this matter. :)

All right, guys, this thread does not exist for your amusement. The original poster's concern has been addressed, so I'm locking this. :)
