Since Friday evening (EST), when I log into The Venture Co, my latency shoots up to 2000 or sometimes even 15,000. Everything lags about me, and I disconnect. Especially when I try to talk to a quest-npc.
I've tried my alt realms, Twisting Nether and Lightninghoof, but they're working fine for me.
Again, this started only Friday. Other people are complaining of spikes, but I haven't been able to be on enough to know if any others are experiencing the horrible server lag.
Everything on my end is working well, connetion and computer-wise. Is there something going on with V-Co that I should know about? Is it going to get a restart to help out the problems? Cuz right now it's unplayable for me and that's my main server.

Hello Vhael,
Different realms are located in separate areas of the country. It could be that your internet service provider is having some routing difficultly connecting to that particular area. I would recommend posting your issue on the Technical Support Forum at:

In your post perhaps give details of who your ISP is. Another option to consider also would be contacting your ISP directly regarding your problem. Good luck.

I have inquired and checked into this issue for you and the latency you are seeing isn't related to the realm's server. I even logged on myself and I see no latency.
Perhaps it is how you worded your post on the Technical Support Forum. Maybe you made it sound as if there was a realm issue you were reporting?

I have something for you to try out. This will test out my suggestion above. Could you please try making a character on the realm Sentinels and see if you experience the same connection issues?

So far, still only Venture Co is lagging me out.
P.S. - I reinstalled the game, as well, but no change.
Next thing to try. Perhaps in some way your settings are affecting this. To rule this out please reset your User Interface completely. The steps are as follows:
1) Log out of World of Warcraft to your desktop, thereby exiting the game completely.
2) Navigate to the World of Warcraft folder, which is often found in the Program Files directory (the default path is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
3) Either rename (or delete) the WTF, WDB, and Interface folders. (Note: If you do not wish to permanently lose any third-party AddOns you may have accrued, or macros you've written for your characters, you would be well-advised to merely rename the folders, rather than delete them entirely.)
4) Log back into the game by double-clicking WoW.exe, ensuring that you do not reinstall any AddOns before doing so.
