Subject: purging accounts/characters
I was considering cancelling today, but would like to come back for the expansion. I would like to retain all my characters if possible. The Account Management page stated:

Q u o t e:
"We currently have no plans to delete accounts or characters for inactivity, so you are always free to return to the lands of Azeroth and continue your tale in the World of Warcraft!"

I just want to make sure that this means what I think it means. Does this state that, currently, my account and characters will still be there when I decide to reactivate my subscription? And will we know if there are any changes to the status quo (ie. Blizzard does begin to purge cancelled accounts)?

Thanks in advance.

Yes that does indeed mean what you think it does, that you will be able to continue play on the same characters when you decide to reactivate your subscription. If we decide to change such policies of keeping active characters on frozen accounts we will make an announcement detailing those changes on the World of Warcraft website. Good luck.
Half King of Beasts + half Monarch of the Skies = ?
