Hey folks. We are currently investigating this issue. Keeping in mind that and honor obtained toward the end of the night may not be calculated within the same day, how many people are missing all honor from yesterday? We want to be able to ensure this is not an issue where the honor may just spill into Tuesday's tabulation and is actually completely missing.

Please be as specific as possible about relative time frames and estimates of honor received when reporting these issues.

Please be as specific as possible.

For example:

Are you only missing honor from yesterday?

How much honor would you estimate you're missing?

Around what time PDT were you Pvping yesterday?

Q u o t e:
I am missing my honor from yesterday and for the rest of the week, I did the paid character transfer last night and had over 60k honor for the week when I did it. I also pvped on my new relm and got no honor form that either.

Honor for a week is suppose to carry over when you use the paid transfers, right?

Unfortunately, all honor obtained during a given week will be lost if a character is moved to a different realm before the weekly calculation is done.

Q u o t e:
Does it say this anywhere in the paid transfers fact or any other paid transfer infromation page? I thought I read them all and never saw anything about this.

This is not yet clearly stated in the Paid Character Transfer FAQ. Please see the following thread for further details:

Q u o t e:
what about the rest of us that have nothing to do w/ transfers?

I'm sorry, Raserai. This thread is not about characters missing honor due to transfers; however, I did not want that issue to go unanswered, so I quickly referred the player to another thread.

This thread is about legitimate honor calculation issues this morning that do not concern transfers of any sort. We're currently compiling as much information as possible based on the reports received via this thread so that we may report this to the necessary departments for further investigation.

Q u o t e:
yea....

i'm going to go ahead and agree with the other people that also think it is broken. Thanks anway tho...

In this case, Neni is correct, Hellsighn. The issue you are reporting is separate from the reports made in this thread. Whether or not you gain a rank is entirely contingent upon the performance of the other players on your realm. You are not reporting a calculation issue in this case, as is the topic of this thread. Even at 100% through Rank 5, 20,000 honor for a week is not necessarily enough to bump you above others into the next Rank.

Update: As for the topic at hand, we are still compiling the data we are receiving to determine what realms have been affected in order to pinpoint a cause for the issue. I will provide you with further updates as soon as further analysis has been conducted. Thank you all for your information and patience. = )

Just to give you guys a heads up, we are still investigating this matter; but we do appreciate all of the information that everyone in this thread has provided. Ok, the lack of response tells me Bliz is hoping we all "forget"...or maybe they already have?

I apologise for the lack of response, Hocus, but it is not because we hope players shall "forget" about the matter. You may rest assured that all appropriate departments are currently coordinating to investigate the situation further, determine the cause for the issue, and work to devise an appropriate resolution. As soon as an update is forthcoming, we shall offer it to you; until then, suffice it to say that we are just as concerned to see this matter resolved as you are, but such things take time. Your patience is appreciated. :)

We haven't provided more information simply because the issue is still being investigated. I understand that the scope of such investigations may not be understood in their entirety; however it isn't always as simple as snapping one's fingers and having a result. We are very eager to provide updates and information when available; when such information is not available there isn't much to work with.

I assure you that the importance of this matter has been acknowledged and understood. I've just sent more details pertaining to this issue in hopes of aiding the investigation process. Hopefully we will have an update soon.

Thank you to everyone who has been keeping related posts in this thread, and for providing all of the details that you have thus far. It has not gone unnoticed. ;)

what is UTC ?

If I'm not much mistaken, UTC is short for Coordinated Universal Time, which is the international time standard; it's another term for Greenwich Meridian Time (GMT). :)

So can you confirm that post in beta forums, Pavonum?

I posted this in another thread, but I'll reproduce it here for the sake of thoroughness:

Q u o t e:
We believe we've been able to isolate the cause of the issue players have reported regarding their Honor, and are currently taking steps to resolve the matter; we hope to have addressed the situation as quickly as is possible, and we shall provide further updates when they become available. Thanks much for your continued patience, everyone. :)

I'll be sure to let you folks know if I hear anything more about the issue. Moonkin's honour. :)

When I say that this is merely a display issue, Serumi, I mean that no Honor has been lost in actuality; the data merely needs to be applied. This is what we are working to do. :)
