Hello everyone,
With the release of each new patch, it is likely that players will come across issues that we have not yet encountered. If you happen to discover a new issue at any time during your travels in Azeroth, the best place to report it would be the Bug Report Forum (link below). With that said, it is our hope to utilize this thread as a means of providing players with a list of the current issues that we are receiving reports of, and any solutions or work-arounds we are able to provide. This thread will be continually updated with the latest information as it becomes available to us.

Top Issues - Patch 1.11.2 - Last Updated: 7/25/06
Creatures & NPCs- Skinning trainer is not offering training
- Eladriel, the skinning trainer in Darnassus Craftman's Terrace, is selling shields instead of offering to train the Skinning Profession.
- PvP-flagged NPC giving DK
- Volcor, an NPC in Blackwood Den, is flagged as a PvP target but is giving a Dishonorable Kill upon death.
- Solenor the Slayer
- Hunter Frost Traps are not removing the Soul Fire buff from Solenor the Slayer.
- Artorius the Doombringer
- Artorius the Doombringer's Demonic Doom ability is doing significantly more damage than the tooltip states.
Items
- Blade of Eternal Darkness
- The Blade of Eternal Darkness is currently proccing off of Polymorph and other crowd control spells.
- Cured Heavy Hides
- It is only possible to stack these items up to 10; though it is intended for players to be able to stack them up to 20.
- Warbear Leather
- It is not possible to stack these up to the intended 20.
- Shredder Operating Manual pages
- The Shredder Operating Manual pages do not always combine properly.
- You should be able to complete the combine by right-clicking on a stack of the same page; however, doing so will consume two pages rather than one.
- Blooddrenched Mask
- The Blooddrenched mask makes the character appear Bald.
- Blessed Wizard Oil
- There is a typo in the use text for the Blessed Wizard Oil.
Skills- Two-Handed Axes and Maces
- Unlearning, then re-learning the Shaman talent "Two-Handed Axes and Maces" causes the two-handed mace currently equipped to remain broken until re-equipped.
- Claw Sound Effect
- The Druid ability "Claw" has the sound of Mana Shield.
- Furor talent does not grant energy
- Druid talent "Furor" is not granting energy when player shapeshifting into Cat form.
Quests- The Great Masquerade
- The Great Masquerade quest is not resetting properly, causing it to "freeze" before it can be completed (if it has been completed recently).
- OOX-17/TN chicken escort and Defias Traitor Escort
- Escort quest NPCs simply do not respond to players.
- Curse of the Tides
- Players are unable to complete the quest The Curse of the Tides when Gazban evades after dying to him while he is in elemental form.
Dungeons- Raid Info Window
- The raid info window pops up repeatedly after players acquire a Raid ID.
User Interface
- Keyrings
- Players are unable to view keys in their keyrings, or keys are floating around in the keyring. All of the current issues with keyrings can be resolved by resetting your User Interface (UI). Please follow the steps below in order to do so:
- Log out of World of Warcraft to your desktop, thereby exiting the game completely.
- Navigate to the World of Warcraft folder, which is often found in the Program Files directory (the default path is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
- Either rename (or delete) the WTF, WDB, and Interface folders. (Note: If you do not wish to permanently lose any third-party addons you may have accrued, or macros you've written for your characters, you would be well-advised to merely rename the folders, rather than delete them entirely.)
- Log back into the game by double-clicking WoW.exe, ensuring that you do not reinstall any addons before doing so.
- Please note that keyrings will only hold dungeon keys. When a player logs into a character that has a valid dungeon key, the keyring icon will be displayed (between the latency bar and bags on the bottom bar of the User Interface). Anytime that a player logs into another character on that account, regardless of whether or not that character has valid keys, the keyring icon will be displayed.
Miscellaneous
- Drowning
- While swimming around in certain areas, it is possible for a player to suddenly suffer very high drowning damage. This can happen even if the player's breath meter has not been expended.
- Summoning Food/Water
- When summoning stackable items (Food, Water) players do not receive accurate chat confirmation for the amount of items summoned.
- Dressing Room Display Issues
- Initially opening the dressing room removes all the characters clothes.
- The Warrior ability Charge is disconnecting players from the server
- Using charge will sometimes cause you to disconnect, giving the error: "Move Enforcement Failure: Player moved too far in a single update." This appears to be caused by going over zone lines with charge/intercept.
