Subject: Character Transfer. Account to Account.
I've recently tried transfering my 60 hunter from my old account to my new one. I wanted it to be on the same realm but on my new account. On my new accounts Character selection screen, I can see my hunter. His name is CluffDD4A2D ( Suppose to be Cluff). Everytime I try to log onto him it says "Your character is in the process of being transferred to another realm. It will remain locked until the transfer is complete."

Is this normal? The character name is different and the wait time said 1 hour and its been around 5. I was only trying to transfer it to my new account not a new realm? Is this just a standard message when trying to log onto a character being transfered? Any idea how long the transfer process will take?

While I'm afraid I'm not able to answer all of your questions, Kluff, I can tell you that the message you've received is, indeed, normal; until the actual transfer process concludes, the character is "locked" and may not be used. As for the letters and numbers placed after Cluff's name, that signifies that the name is already in use on that realm, and that you will be prompted for a new name once you're able to log in as that character. Please remain patient, friend, and the transfer should go through in due time. Good luck, though! :)
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair...
