Is there any technical reason why I cannot get past this, while my guildmates and the rest of the server can log in just fine? I'm on a fast cable modem connection, so I'm sure it's not on my end.

It looks as though Azgalor may be functioning a bit slowly at the moment, folks, but rest assured that our server technicians are aware and making every effort to ensure that stability is maintained; it may take a few minutes to get in-game, but once you do you shouldn't experience any further issues. In the meantime, your patience is appreciated. :)
