Subject: What do GM's consider threats?
Recently, a player has been continuely harassing me about breaking into (hacking) into my account. The first time, I thought it was a simple joke. As what seemed like a cold joke escalated, I reported a ticket into the GM. Included with the ticket was that he used innappropriate language with the messages he sent me (which is the truth).

Later today, he gets on bragging about how I gave him a 24 hour ban, and how he ensures that my playtime will be very limited (almost and exact quote) also making numerous refrences to invading the privacy of my WoW account.

The worst part is, that he claimed that he was banned not for the threats, but for the language. That, and his guild is known for inappropriate actions against other players. I can't ignore his accounts, only to be hit with alts spamming me the same thing.

So, I ask you GM's, is effective action happening to stop continous harassment such as this.

   Hi Darmani,

Please open a ticket to a Game Master whenever you encounter harassment from this player. The Game Master will be able to take appropriate action for any violation of our harassment policies as well as look into the credibility of threats made against you. Such threats are examined on a case by case basis for not only the type of threat but how substantial it is.
