When the need arises, Animosity, free realm transfers from select higher-population realms to select lower-population ones shall still be made available upon occasion, although those are typically more limited. Any such announcements would be made on the front page of our official website, though, so keep an eye out for further updates. :)

oo ty. do u know how often this is. and can i choose any server i would like to transfer too or is ther only a few that would b open at a time??

Traditionally, Animosity, the free realm transfers are made available for the sole purpose of balancing population between realms which may have more or fewer players than is ideal, e.g. from High-Pop Realm A to Low-Pop Realm B. Thus, you would likely not be given a very open choice of realms to transfer to and from. As for how often these transfers occur, that is not an answer I may offer; our server technicians, however, constantly monitor realm population as a whole to see if such transfers become warranted. :)

oooo so i can start on a high poplulation with friends and b transferd later on to a new server?

I would not personally recommend starting a character on a high-population realm for the sole reason that it may, at some point in the future, be offered a free transfer elsewhere; there is never any guarantee that a given transfer shall be made available, so you may find yourself "stuck" unless you wish to make use of the Paid Character Transfer service.

Q u o t e:
Is there a way to see if the overall realm population is low, medium or high?

That is what is being taken into consideration when enabling character transfers on realms, not the population at a certain time during the day.

I'm afraid that information is not available to the public, Silm; you can, however, see whether the realm is currently densely populated or otherwise. :)
