Is there a way to purchase a CD Authentication Key online and just use the disks I already have to start another account, or should I just go and buy another boxed version? I didn't see that it actually was possible so I thought I would confirm that notion on the forum.

Well, Authumnraging; as you have discovered, the Recruit-A-Friend Program is a viable alternative to purchasing a retail boxed version of World of Warcraft.
Your Recruit-A-Friend Trial Authentication Key can be used to create a Trial Account, which will allow you to play for 10 days for free. When the Trial period expires, you may then choose to either purchase the retail boxed version of the game or upgrade your account online. In order to upgrade online, simply visit the Account Management page and choose the "Upgrade Online Right Now!" option. There is an activation fee that must be paid in order to complete the upgrade; however, the fee does include a free month's subscription. I hope this helps, Autumn.
