Subject: Question on in game pools.
I want to set up an in game pool within my guild alliance, winning would be decided by picking three numbers and matching them to the rolls at the end of the week, but there are questions as to it's legality within the WoW policy.

Is it against WoW policy to hold an in game pool/lottery within your guild? If so, can anyone direct me to the site stating so?

Thank you!

Subject: Re: Question on in game pools.
Long ago, Garrin, when Azeroth was a carefree and happy place, player-run casinos frolicked throughout Ironforge and Orgrimmar -- bets were made and raised, dice were cast, and merrymaking of all manner ensued. But for all the joy that these activities seemed to bring, the darkness of some unsavoury individuals' hearts cast a pall over the matter; that fickle mistress, Avarice, cast her spell on the denizens of our fair land and coaxed players to take advantage of their peers in these games of chance. As there were no regulatory measures in place to ensure that these "lotteries" (as they were often called) remained above-board, and no recourse to be had in the event that someone was scammed out of their hard-earned gold, it was decided that casinos -- and all related practices -- be outlawed, for the sake of the economy and the player base as a whole. Please don't do it. :)
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair...
