Ok it's not April first. Is this for real? One of the drawing points to the game was factions that had a unique class.

I can't believe whats in front of my eyes right now.

Thanks for deleting my post, I love you guys too.

You know I love you, Mjr, though making drug references isn't appropriate for this forum. Thanks for understanding. ; )

We're all for allowing everyone to discuss the impending changes in a constructive and assertive manner; but, please keep the dialogue civil, folks. With change always comes misunderstanding, hardships, and flames. It'd behoove us all to realize that the only reason we are so concerned over any announced changes is because we are passionate about this game and its direction. I'm always one to actually try things before forming a very direct and authoritative position on the subject; however, feel free to express your constructive opinions. There's no need to be absolutely Rude.

Q u o t e:
Just thought I'd clarify that so you weren't surprised.

Heh, Thanks for the clarification, Soul. I didn't mean to give the impression that I was surprised by any of it. Whenever any upcoming changes are announced, I find that very few of the responses we see here are surprising. That said, my post to which you're referring was more or less directed to a particular individual earlier who began using derogatory comments toward another poster for disagreeing with his/her view point on the subject matter. You can go ahead an actively disagree with our design decisions here, so long as you remain within the regulations of the Forum Code of Conduct. I simply ask that players take a moment to make a strong effort to understand that the player base as a whole will have a wide array of differences in opinion whenever change is announced; and, therefore, try not to flame eachother based on the assertions expressed here. This is especially given that no one has yet experienced the game with this change.

Batta, just tell me this. Is there still hope that this won't actually happen? Or should I just cancel my subscription now :(

Batta, I'm afraid, has departed for the evening, so I suppose I shall have to suffice for the time being.

While the future is never certain, Grengar, I do not think it likely that this particular decision shall be reversed.

Even with all the people hating the decision?

It is human nature to fear change, Grengar, and drastic shifts in long-established paradigms tend to result in vehement reactions, be they positive or negative. That said, I've seen a great deal of players who are quite pleased indeed with the decision which has been made, although I've found that they are not generally the ones making the most noise here on the forums. This is a prominent announcement, and it is to be expected that misunderstanding and speculation would follow suit; when the dust settles, however, I believe that it shall become evident that the change is a positive one. I, for one, look forward to seeing what develops in the months to come; it should be quite an interesting adventure. :)

Thank you, Spiritwolf; I think you've captured the "essence" of the General Forum quite nicely. ;)

Anybody else think it's funny how the Blizzard posters only come into this thread to say "lol" or "lrn2followrules"?

What would you prefer we say, Roguedude? :)
