Subject: What extacly is a "Rolling Restart"
Now I've been trying to find a answer for what a "rolling restart" actually entails, but I can't seem to find a answer anywhere on the world of warcraft website. Either I'm not looking hard enough or there just isn't one.

So my question is, what is a rolling restart? What does it do? How long does it take? How much of a roll back does it actually roll back in game time. Does it roll back minutes, hours, days of game time?

If someone has a answer. I would be very happy to hear it

Also I believe if there isn't a definition of what a "rolling restart" on the website. There should a definition be placed somewhere on the website and be in a easy to access location.

   Hi Loneshadow,

The word rolling in "rolling restart" does not refer to a "rollback" but instead the method of taking the realms down for a quick restart to address an issue. Often such "rolling restarts" will have the realm available for play again quite rapidly.
