Subject: comprimised account question
my friend reacently had his account comprimised and "sent in the required info" (whatever that means) ANYWAY he said he isnt shure if sending in this "info" would unlock his account or if he would have to wait for the investigation. thus the question:

Will my friend have to wait for the investigation to conclude in order to come back to WoW? or does it differ from situation to situation? WE MISS HIM T_T

P.S. MY ACCOUNT >>>> ISNT <<<< comprimised so please dont give me an answer that is "if you think your account has been comprimised please contact bliz account admin" thanks <3

Subject: Re: comprimised account question
It's hard to tell exactly where your friend is in this process based on the information you've provided, Nex. It sounds as though your friend has faxed the required information to our Billing & Account Services department in order to verify the correct ownership of the account. Once this information is verified, the account should be unlocked. If the character is awaiting the restoration of gear or other items, it is highly likely that there will be a slightly lengthy waiting process after the account is reactivated.

So, in short no, your friend should not have to wait for the entire investigation to conclude before accessing the account. That said, the player will have to wait for the investigation to conclude before potentially having any missing items restored.

Edit: Tandaa's always a step ahead. ; )
