Subject: GM's What do they do?
So we kill Razor and we can't loot him. 40 tickets get opened, takes a GM 2hrs 20min to reply. The GM then tells us that he can't do anything about it and needs to contact a specialist which could take one week. Yea this wouldn't be so bad, if maybe they gave us loot from 4 months ago from Vem; by the way you guys can forget about that loot. They say they can't spawn bosses which is BS, I have watched them spawn Ragnaros for a guild so they could rekill it when loot didn't drop...

So my question is, what do GM's really do? They never help with anything about 75% of the time, and they take easily about 2hrs to send you an auto message.

Looting issues of this nature are forwarded to our Character Specialists for further investigation. Game Masters do NOT have the power to spawn boss NPCs.

The petition escalated to our Character Specialists will be addressed in the order in which it was received.

"GM's What cant they do!?!?!"

Spawn Boss mobs at will. ; )

Q u o t e:
then why do game specialists take over 4 months.

Our specialist response time is a little bit longer than we'd prefer; however, it's not four months.

Q u o t e:
and I have personally seen Ragnaros be respawned.

While the functionality does exist to spawn creatures, the standard Game Masters alone do not have this power, Calic, nor is that how we handle looting issues.

The key is in Batta's wording.

For he is no standard GM....

Don't get me wrong, Nixar, I haven't this power either. = )

Q u o t e:
How come i've seen eyonix, caydiem, or whoever spawn kazzak on the Honor test realm?

Oh and sewer beasts, random sea creatures etc in SW....In some in the barrens WSG port.

As I said earlier:

To prevent abuse of power, there are limitations put into place.

There was a time when GM's could spawn raid monsters.

However, due to the actions of a certain burning red creature - they have since been revoked.

We've been lovely, thanks for asking. It's great to have you back; and, congratulations on turning 21! You be careful out beyond that door to the void now, Amalythia.

Please, kick your shoes off. Get those ugly troll feet comfortable. We always enjoy the company. ; )

Q u o t e:
BUT I'M BACK NOW. The very foundations of the customer service board tremble beneath my totally ugly troll feet.

Customer Service was just a small forum, where friendly people took solace from the bustle of fast-paced General and the debauchery of Off-Topic; its residents enjoyed a life free from hostility, trolls, and ASCII art. A veritable paradise... or so it seemed. Because Customer Service housed a dark secret, one that had haunted its moderators since that one fateful night long ago. The veil of tranquility had fallen over the sleepy forum, but that was all about to change. For it was time, once again, for terror to be given a name...

Amalythia: The Reckoning.

In all seriousness, it's wonderful to see you around again; we'd sorely missed your Trollish charm. And I hope your birthday was a memorable one! :D

Q u o t e:
I was reading about GM names a few minutes ago...I was wondering if you could tell me the reason for choosing these names.

There's no hard-and-fast rule when it comes to our names, Silm; they may signify something important to the individual Game Master, or merely consist of carefully crafted "gibberish." My current moniker stems from my love for ancient languages, but I can't speak for the others. Some things are meant to remain shrouded in mystery, y'know. ;)

Q u o t e:
Okay, then why did you choose this name? I've come upon some things on the Internet, but need confirmation. It might not even have anything to do with your choice, though:)

I'm not sure what you're asking for, Silm, but I've already offered the general reasoning behind my choice of name; I'd rather not get into specifics. :)

Q u o t e:
If you check your database, Jormundir and Myself talked to a GM, who in turn directed us to a specialist regarding nef loot. The server crashed in the middle of the loot process, and half of it was lost. The specialist never got back to us, after many tickets afterwards. I have long since given up... i don't need the ring of reckoning, but it'd be nice to have.
p.s. it has now been over 4 months. gg

It would appear that one of our Character Specialists sent Jormundir an e-mail back in May and requested more information to aid his investigation of the Nefarian kill from which the items could not be properly assigned; I'd strongly recommend that your guildmate reply to that e-mail at his earliest convenience, so that further assistance may be provided. :)

Holy dwarf turds, man! Did you hear about it yet?

Caffeinated soap. That's right. 2 and a half cups of coffee in ya, just from lathering up. I'd post the link, but it's probably against rules because it would be, in a way, advertising. But you can google it, I'm sure. =P

Yeah, I think I saw it on ThinkGeek. There is some truly magical stuff there; it's a world of caffeine! :D
