Subject: [Character] DCed when turning in any quest
So that I may avoid useless canned responses, let me first say that I've already tried disabling all addons and deleting WDB/WTF folders; the problem persists regardless.

When I turn in a quest, any quest, with this character, I am disconnected from the server. I do not disconnect immediately, rather I get the experience and items for the quest, but thereafter it is as if my connection were lagging out - I can move around, but my pet does not follow me and I cannot interact with NPCs, cast spells, etc.

When I log back in, I have confirmed that I receive the quest rewards for the quest and any experience or money.

However, if the quest has item rewards, and I do not have enough bag space for them, so that I fail to complete the quest, I do not get disconnected. I only get disconnected when I successfully complete a quest.

I do not get disconnected when accepting a quest, or abandoning a quest in my quest log.

I also have a petition for this issue in-game, but due to the absurdly short character limit for tickets I am unable to describe the problem accurately. (Why the ticket window is so huge, and why it even has scrollbars for it, when you can't type more than four or five lines of text, is beyond me.)

Q u o t e:
I'd suggest checking out the Technical Support Forums... but before you do, have you seen these Support Pages? They're usually pretty helpful.

The one for PC with the quest disconnect issue: http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01679p

And the one for Macs: http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01952p

Hope everything works out. =/

Edit: Just got beasted by Mel. ;)

These steps should resolve this issue. Unfortunately this is a matter of Technical Support, and is not an issue that the Game Master Department is able to assist with. :/

I do, however, wish you luck Lurr. ;)

Also, I'm glad to hear this worked out Homicidal!
