Hi alittle over a week ago my acount was locked and 2 of my toons were gone my lvl 60 mage and my lvl 51 priest.
I faxed the papers to blizzard and got my account unlocked and started a new warlock I have emailed the acount admins to see if they could give me an update on when i will get my characters back. but it seems like i get the same old auto reply saying we will contact you when the restore is finished. Im not sure how long this takes but i just sent a GM a ticket asking for an update and i got a reply below.

So Billing Department is in charge of character restores now ? im so lost can you shed some light on this for me I really dont want to start over after a year of hard work to get were i was.

I apologise for any confusion you may have been caused by your correspondence with the Game Master in question, Cranky; if you wish to offer any comments or concerns regarding the service you've been provided by one of our representatives, please feel free to send an e-mail to wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.com. That way, the proper authorities may determine how our department may be of further clarification in future dealings with players. :)
As for the actual issue you've mentioned in your post, I've confirmed that you are currently in-queue to have your situation further reviewed by our Account Investigators, who are best suited to delving into the matter of your compromised account and determine how our department may be of aid in recovering any characters or items which may have been lost in the process. Unfortunately, due to the rather complex analysis which is necessary to fully address such issues, it may be some time -- perhaps a week or longer -- before our Investigators are able to contact you with the results of their research. In the meantime, we greatly appreciate your continued patience. :)

As much as I love cookies, that is not something I have the power to do, nor do I feel it would be a good idea; generally speaking, it is best not to rush such matters, as the more thorough the investigation we are able to conduct, the better chance that we can restore your account to all its former glory. I understand your frustration, but just sit tight. :)
