I'm on Steamwheedle server. Last night, right before the server crash, I ran back to Stratholme as a ghost and fell through the world at zone in.
I ended up floating under the continent out to the ocean where I could swim a bit so tried to swim up then back... I ended up back under the continent near stratholme when the server finally crashed. This was more than a 20 minute process to get out to the ocean, under the continent, and back again (live backups would have him under the world).
Having read the posts about how folks falling off boats far out to sea causing servers to crash, I'm wondering if I should avoid logging him on and contact a GM about where he's at to avoid the possability of crashing the server logging in.
He has faced the Gazebo!

Hello Amoc,
Thank you for your concern. However you need not be worried about logging in your character in as this will pose no risk to the realm. However I would recommend opening a ticket to a Game Master from this character or another one of your characters in order to get any stuck character moved and unstuck. Be sure to always give the name and realm of the stuck character in your petition.

Both submitting a GM ticket and queuing for BG can take a while.
No. While the Game Master will try to reach you as soon as he/she can, the Game Master can rescue you even if you are offline.
