Subject: Drowning gives durability damage??
I'm sorry, but I really don't see how drowning could possibly hurt gear in any way shape or form. You should NOT lose any durability from a death via drowning.

I was d/c'd underwater and came back dead, only to find that I had a 10% durability loss to my gear, so I took off my clothes, drowned again to see if it was from that or an enemy, and discovered that it's just from drowning.

Honestly, how in the world does drowning hurt equipment?????

I really think a durability loss should NOT result from a death via drowning.

I'm very sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused, Tamago; that rust damage can be exceptionally painful. If you would like to propose any changes to the durability system (how drowning/fatigue affects armor durability, for example), I would ask that you visit our Suggestions Forum. Those forums are continually monitored by members of our Community and Development Teams, and are therefore the best place to suggest changes and express concern over current game mechanics. Please keep in mind that durability loss is an intended side-effect of drowning/fatigue. Good luck!
