The Hinterland's Horde quest Rin'ji is Trapped! requires an escort of a PvP flagged NPC. On a PvE server, is it considered griefing to attack this NCP as he is being escorted?

It is not considered griefing for a member of the opposite faction to attack this NPC. This design is intentional to make the quest a little more difficult, regardless of the ruleset of your realm. I can see how this may be frustrating for some, however, and ask that you post your functionality concerns in relation to this quest on our Suggestions forum. = D

Off-hand, I know there's one in Feralas, one in Tanaris, and one in the Hinterlands. I became quite familiar with their locations as a Game Master when I needed to attempt to reset them for players frequently.
