Subject: refusing to restore my other hacked account
   I received an email from Accounts department saying I had to fax information to them in order to retrieve my account that was stolen. I did that last night, following their instructions completely. today, I received another letter stating that I did not send the information in one fax. I sent them another email, showing them proof that I had in fact sent them all the information in one fax. I asked them to call me, gave them my phone number and I've yet to receive a reply from them, by phone or by email. they want me to send another fax, and for what reason? to be told once again that I need to send yet another?

I'm writing this because I'm getting a bit upset about the so called customer service that World of Warcraft has. this isn't service, this is bull$!@%. the number of accounts that has been hacked only shows me that the people that work for blizzard need to be visiting these sites and having them shut down, not sitting on their ass sending out emails because they can't find two pieces of damn paper in their pile of 1000's that match up.

shame on you blizzard and get your act together. I've about had it with this game. I hit cancel yesterday and was talked into staying by a support person telling me that the steps that are in place for account retrival are the best in the business. after reading these posts of it taking weeks for people to get their accounts back to or somewhat close to what they were, is showing me that the person I spoke to was doing nothing but telling me a bunch of bs. he told me the account would be back to original minus any enchants. I'm not seeing this. seems your sales department is up to par.. only if you could get your customer service department to take notes from the salesman.

   If you provide me with the name of a character on the account and the realm on which the character is located, I would be happy to look into this matter and attempt to determine why you were asked to re-fax your information to us, Xelresia. It may, however, be that the fax we received was illegible or missing information that is necessary for our Account Administration Department to reactivate the account.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you have been caused; we would, however, ask that you resubmit the requested retrieval form/attached information as soon as possible, so that we are able to reactivate your account and get you back in the game.

   After looking into this matter, it does appear that your retrieval form was received by our Account Administration Department; however, the required photocopy of your valid ID was not. This could have occurred due to any number of reasons. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience, but I am going to have to ask you to re-fax the information at your earliest convenience.
