Subject: Has beta for Burning Crusade started? |

I participated in the contest a few months back for most characters to level 25 on the test realm. I did receive the list of winners, and my name is on there.
However in light of the fact that the release date for Burning Crusade is only two months away and I still have not received an email about joining the beta, I am worried that perhaps I might have been missed to join the beta.
Has the beta even started? If not, how do they propose to do a full beta testing and still have the expansion released for October?
If the beta HAS started, how do I contact the appropriate people to get the information to join? I was told in the email that I would be contacted by email when the time was near, but I have seen no email.
Thank you for your help, I hope you can at least answer if the beta has started.

When the Beta Test for the Burning Crusade expansion begins, it will be announced on the World of Warcraft News page and on the General Forum. When the announcement is made, you can be sure that instructions will be provided about how to participate, and those players eligible to join the Beta Test will receive an e-mail to the address on file for their account. We are not able to provide you with an estimate as to when the Beta Test will begin. I hope this answers your question, Cinders.

We do not currently have any information to provide you about possible release dates for the Burning Crusade Beta Test, but, as I said above, please keep an eye on the news page and General Forum for future announcements.
