Subject: Hacked, char deleted, blizzard wont help
   Who do I need to talk to about getting a character restored that was deleted from an account hacked? My friend has had to speak with numerous people and they refuse to put his char back that he's spent the better part of a year and a half working on. His account was hacked a couple weeks back or maybe a bit less, he spoke with GM's and they said they were having technical difficulty restoring his account.

Time goes by he still calls away they say they won't give it back to him now without much of a reason why. So basically if something happens to your account and you haven't given out a password or any of the such, your things get messed with etc blizzard won't help you out but some random person deleting their char because they're silly can get their character restored the next day? Could someone help me out here please? He has already tried contacting you guys directly and you've either been extremely rude, disconnected while trying to contact someone over the phone or fed the same copy/pasted response. This isn't something that's isolated to just him apparently looking over some of the posts here So could someone out there do more than just give the collective us a reason outside the scripted bit you're used to giving people on why something more serious can't be done?

His char is on shattered hand, his chars name is Bluedeathz.

   Our reasons for not restoring the character have been explained numerous times. Each compromised account investigation is handled on an individual basis. Unfortunately, I will be unable to discuss this matter any further on a public forum with someone other than the account holder.
