I am a bit under the influence and when equipping my new Dire Maul trinket I thought it said "equipping this item will bind it to you," but apparently it asked if I wanted to destroy it. I just payed 70g for it so I really dont want to destroy it, can you please help me out BLUE?

Indeed, Moopie, I would suggest doing as the above posters have suggested and submit an in-game petition so that a Game Master may assist you in this matter. When submitting an item restoration request, please include all of the following information in your petition in order to expedite the process:
- Character Name
- Realm of the character needing an item restoration
- Level, Class and Race of the Character
- Name of the Item(s) that is being requested for restoration
- Approximate time and date of Item(s) loss
- Acknowledgement that you would like to use one of the limited restorations available to restore the Item(s).
