Subject: How To Make A Report
Hi! This is your friendly neighborhood Ashenbra.

Frustrated that you've had to reply to an email sent after you've sent in a petition? Unsure as to how to handle a bot report?

Look no further! This is your guide to the format and process for sending in a ticket. My apologies if this has already been posted somewhere else.

BOT REPORTS

When send in a bot report, it helps to include the following information:

-Name of the suspected bot/farmer
-Time/date of sighting

Optional, but helpful notes:
-Duration of time you've watched/seen them
-Area you've seen them in
-Behavior that makes you believe they're a bot or farmer.

As many of you already know, the GMs will not be able to tell you the outcome of the investigation. Realize that investigations take time, and there is no need to resubmit the petition or report it again.

--

HARASSMENT COMPLAINTS

Include the following info for best results:

-Name of the person you're reporting.
-Circumstances of the conversation].
-What was said to you and when it was said.
-Whether or not you said anything of note to instigate or continue the conversation that is against the ToS. They'll find out anyway--be up-front if it's important to you.
-Whether or not the harassment is confined to the two of you or groups of people.

Harassment complaints are not dealt with on the Customer Service forum and must be handled in-game.

The same rule as above--GMs will not be able to tell you the actions that may be taken against the person's account.

--

NAMING REPORTS

These kinds of tickets are some of the only tickets with which I recommend a short-and-sweet write-up.

-Give the name.
-I realize that you may feel very strongly about the name, but with cases like names, the rules are clear-cut and generally do not require huge amounts of emotion or rationalization behind the change.

--

LOOTING ISSUES

-GMs will not interfere with group loot. This means missed Need rolls or the like are not able to be resolved by a GM, regardless of whether the item holder petitions.
-GMs will not take action against "ninjas." When you enter a group loot or master loot arrangement, you agree that you trust and will follow any looting actions set forth by the people in your group/master looter.

--

MASTER LOOTING MISTAKES
If an item is mistakenly master-looted to the wrong person, tell a GM within 24 hours for best results. Beyond that you may not be able to switch the item. Include this info:

-When/where the raid/situation occurred.
-The item name.
-Who received the item; who it was supposed to go to.

--

QUEST REWARDS

If you accidentally pick the wrong quest reward for a non-repeatable quest, let the GMs know immediately. You may have heard from your friends that they had old quest rewards switched, but policies are subject to change and it's best to get these handled as soon as possible to avoid heartbreak.

FOR SWITCHES:
-When you cashed in the quest.
-Which item you received.
-Which item you want.
-IMPORTANT: YOUR AGREEMENT TO USE A LIMITED RESTORATION TO RESTORE THE ITEM. This saves so much time.

FOR RESTORATIONS:
-What the item was and the quest if you remember it.
-When you lost/disenchanted/vendored the item.
-Be aware that you may have to provide the shard(s) you looted from the item when you disenchanted it.
-IMPORTANT: YOUR AGREEMENT TO USE A LIMITED RESTORATION TO RESTORE THE ITEM. This saves so much time.

--

ITEM RESTORATIONS

Just like any other restorations, do these immediately to avoid heartbreak.

-Which item you've lost.
-When you lost it.
-HOW you lost it. Vendored, disenchanted, deleted.
-IMPORTANT: YOUR AGREEMENT TO USE A LIMITED RESTORATION TO RESTORE THE ITEM. This saves so much time.

--

I'll add more ticket types by request. For now, I hope this helps.

This is some great information! Thank you Ashenbra! ;)

On this same topic, please note that harassment reports are unable to be addressed here on the forums. Reports of harassment on these forums including the names of characters involved will be removed. All harassment reports need to be made in-game.

Sonic, again thank you for your compilation of information and images!

I suspect that this will be of quite some use to players! Thank you again!
