I'm sorry if this has been adressed before, i did a serch and came up with no results.
I have 3 windows on my screen. One is general and has the lfg, general ect. on it. Behind it (hidden) is my combat log. Then i have another window with party, raid, whisper, guild on it. This window, (which i named guild) likes to disapear for no apparant reason and with no obvious regularity. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
Also not showing up anymore is npc chat. No longer do i hear the children of Stormwind whining about their dollies being stolen. This isn't entirely bad but i wonder does it have somehtng to do with my problem? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hey, Deannatoy. I apologize for the delay in response; though, congratulations on hitting level 58! = D
When your chat windows randomly seem to disappear, what steps are you taking to have them restored?
Have you tried using the "Simple Chat" function in your interface options? Checking this box should restore the default settings. If this continues to occur, however, you may need to reset your user interface. You can do so by following these steps:

1. Log out of World of Warcraft to your desktop, thereby exiting the game completely.
2. Navigate to the World of Warcraft folder, which is often found in the Program Files directory (the default path is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft).
3. Either rename (or delete) the WTF, WDB, and Interface folders. (Note: If you do not wish to permanently lose any third-party addons you may have accrued, or macros youve written for your characters, you would be well-advised to merely rename the folders, rather than delete them entirely.)
4. Log back into the game by double-clicking WoW.exe, ensuring that you do not reinstall any addons before doing so.
