Subject: So I emailed the Gm dep. now what....
So I Emailed the GM dep about a character restoration, sad thing is my cousin (who was mad at me because I wouldnt let him watch TV) went onto my computer and deleted alot of stuff. Yes hes becoming quite the computer nerd so he knows how to do that stuff. He deleted microsoft office, World of Warcraft, and pinball :{ my question is, do I have to be in game to get a responce or will they e-mail me back with an answer..

WOW will take too long to re download if I cant get the character back so there would be no point to re download it

Did you send an e-mail to wowgm@blizzard.com, Barashen? If so, your e-mail should be received and a Game Master should reply with more information very soon. If you have not yet sent an e-mail to that address, I would recommend that you include the following information in order to speed up the restoration process:

  • Character Name
  • Realm your character is on
  • Level, Class and Race of the Character
  • Acknowledgement that you would like to use one of the limited restorations available to restore the character.
For more information about restorations, please refer to the following thread:

Good luck!

Q u o t e:
Thank you so much for your post, unfortunatley I have not yet received an e-mail yet from a GM. OH and yes I did send it to wowgm@blizzard.com and included all of those details, but I cant log onto WoW right now due to the re-installment. But they will e-mail me correct?
Or will I be messaged in-game?
Yes, I have verified that you should be receiving an e-mail in response very soon. Please reply directly to that e-mail and the Game Master will do their best to assist you with your character restoration.
