Subject: Worried about account
So my dad and step-mom are getting a divorce and I have been playing my step bro's game now, He doesn't have it on his comp anymore and we followed what blizzard says to do. He gave me the secret word and I have the billing, PW, Email and phone number all to me. Only thing is the account name and secret PW can't be changed.

Can I lose all my time into these characters I have been playing if he calls up blizzard and just lies and says his account was hacked? He knows the account secret word and its his name on the account even though he gave it to me months ago.

Q u o t e:
Blizzard does not honor the transfer of accounts at all, so the account still belongs to him. Sad to say it, but yes.

However, if you wanted to protect your characters and had some extra spending cash, you could buy a new CD, install it on another computer, make your own account with your CD key, and transfer the characters (as long as you have the same last name).

I would like to comment briefly on all of this. Please keep the following in mind Creepin when considering such a suggested Paid Character Transfer method. If we encountered a situation where a character had been transferred to a new account without the full permission of the source account's owner we would in all likelihood suspend this destination account.
Half King of Beasts + half Monarch of the Skies = ?
