Subject: How long does email take?
What is the average response time when you send mail to wowgm@blizzard.com and wowgmfeedback-us@blizzard.co?

Over the past year, I've sent email to wowgm@blizzard.com and never got a response. However, I never worried about it since I never asked any direct questions.

However, starting 2 weeks ago, I tried sending emails to wowgm@blizzard.com and wowgmfeeback-us@blizzard.com asking questions and have yet to get any kind of acknowledgement that my mail even arived.

I theorized that Blizzard may be filtering email so that only registered email addresses get through (still waiting for blizzard to allow me to correct this without sitting on hold).

While I got several responses from people saying that they didn't think blizzard filtered incoming mail, I haven't heard from anyone who knows for sure.

I'm going to do what I can to look into this matter further, Kaide; on that note, you should receive an e-mail shortly from a Game Master requesting more information, so please check the address registered to your account and reply as soon as you're able. That should aid enormously in my investigation -- I'll let you know what I find. Thanks, friend. :)

Q u o t e:
Thanks. However, the problem is that the registered address ihas a typo. Currently, the only way to fix that is to call.

Ah, I see. Forgive me, I wasn't aware that your registered e-mail address had a typo. In that case, yes, you'll have to call Billing directly in order to have the error corrected. In the meantime, I'll say that -- to my knowledge -- we do not "filter" e-mail in such a manner as you've described. Although we shall likely ask that the e-mail instead be sent from the registered e-mail, we do respond to everything sent to us. It is possible, however, that our responses are being sent to the address on your account, which is, as you've stated, incorrect. My best recommendation would be to get in touch with Billing -- if you don't like waiting on hold, do what I do: put the Muzak on speakerphone and read a book. :)

No, I think we actually use music from World of Warcraft. :)
