Allright, I've heard alot of rumors, saying and every kind of story imaginable bout Hyjal province and the things that happen inside of it/what will happen to you if your inside of it and a gm catches you. So I am here to state what I've heard and collect answers.
Rumors:
1. Entering Hyjal and being caught by a GM will get your account perma-banned.
a)Your account will be suspended for 1 hour on your first offense to 3-6 hours on further offenses.
2. Entering Hjyal uses terran glitching/exploits, and therefor is a cause for being banned -not- for entering Hjyal itself.
3. The "Blizzard Construction Co." sign pings gm's if a player gets too close to the sign letting them know that players are there.
4. GM's will sometimes come to Hyjal to just "hang out" while working.
5. Hyjal will be impossible to get into as of patch 1.12
a)impossible to get into as of the next patch
6. Players who enter the area solo will not be bothered, however in groups of 5 or more gm's will take harsher methods of dealing with players caught tresspassing in Hyjal.
7.Deathwings Lair is currently located in Hyjal and can be entered via a mage's blink or the unstuck feature.
My thoughs:
We'll those are all the main questions I'd like to see answered and also I'd like to see some explination to some of them. I mean, I'll freely admit I've been to the area. I don't feel I am exploiting anything. Nor do I expect reprasial because if anything the construction sign is the dev's knowing people are going to get in and as a reward to players(or a trap to alert the gms..)
I'd really like some answers from this, mainly because I don't like rumors and.. "well my friends friends brother had his account banned and he said..." stuff.
If I could get a answer on this I'd be most apreciated.
Cheers.
Don't worry I am a Roleplayer, let me deal with this.

The weather system is already in effect in Hyjal, though in a primitive stage. We can't seem to stop it from raining baby seals.

While I'm unable to verify what actions may be taken, it is still a violation of our policies to explore unfinished zones. Don't listen to Faiz, she'll only get you in trouble. = p
Q u o t e: 2. Entering Hjyal uses terran glitching/exploits, and therefor is a cause for being banned -not- for entering Hjyal itself.
The bottom line is, we do not condone exploring unfinished areas and will always advise/warn against it.
Q u o t e: 3. The "Blizzard Construction Co." sign pings gm's if a player gets too close to the sign letting them know that players are there.
Haha, I like this one. ; )
Q u o t e: 4. GM's will sometimes come to Hyjal to just "hang out" while working.
A giant water cooler only visible by Game Masters sits next to the construction sign.
Q u o t e: 5. Hyjal will be impossible to get into as of patch 1.12
a)impossible to get into as of the next patch
This is information I will be unable to verify. Fortunately, you need not concern yourself since you shouldn't be there either way. = )
Q u o t e: 6. Players who enter the area solo will not be bothered, however in groups of 5 or more gm's will take harsher methods of dealing with players caught tresspassing in Hyjal.
One is the loniest number.
Q u o t e: 7.Deathwings Lair is currently located in Hyjal and can be entered via a mage's blink or the unstuck feature.
Deathwing Lair would not be accessible in any beneficial way, since the instance has not yet been added to the game in any form.
I hope those are fairly sufficient answers. Most of the rumors are pretty much just rumors. Players will often try to find every loophole or contingency in the way we deal with explorers. Our stance is really quite simply. We do not condone it and must warn that action may be taken against a player's account for exploring areas obviously not yet meant for travel.
