|
I racked up about 29k in hk's. that was between last Saturday and Monday. When Tuesday rolled around, i checked to see how if i made blood guard or too see how much i advanced in stone guard.
Well, im currently still at stone guard and my honor bar hasn't moved an INCH.
I petitioned and talked with a GM and he assured me that the honor point system is working correctly and there's nothing he can do.
Can anyone help me with this or was 29k in honor points just lost?
Thanks in advance.

Your honor tabulation for last week still reads that you earned roughly 29,000 honor, correct? If I am to understand what the issue is, you're saying it's simply your rank progress that seems to be incorrect?

Q u o t e: yes but to see absolutly no change in rank from recieving 30,000 honor is very unlikely.
The ONLY way that could happen is he earned the EXACT average honor for his rank.
So either it moved and he didn't notice, or some odd turn of events lead him to hitting that 'magic' number.
This is exactly what I'm assuming happened. During AV bonus weekend on most realms everyone's average spikes a little bit. This can mean it may take a little more for him to push past that threshold and continue to progress. It does not sound as if there are any true issues in this case so long as the honor calculated correctly. Keep in mind that one's progress is entirely contingent upon the performance of everyone else on your realm and faction.

Thanks for all your help ;).
You're very welcome, Imin. I wish you the best of luck on your grind toward the next rank! = )

Q u o t e: /bump
What rank are you, Notor? Again, honor is entirely contingent upon the performance of every other member of the Alliance on Ysera.
I obtained 55,000 honor last week and went down considerably. This is partially due to my rank; however, it has more to do with the fact that the other members of my faction obtained a much greater amount of honor during AV weekend. If queue times are fast enough, one can manage roughly 10,000 honor in less than an hour in AV. You're looking at several people likely averaging around 100,000+ honor a day during the weekend.

Q u o t e: Also, I know this isn't your fault, but basing my rating on other's honour is stupid. In the real world yeah it might be fine, but in a game where you're giving up time from your life to play and enjoy only to find that 15 hours or so of PvP got you nowhere is annoying. That's the reason I've only recently came back from 3 months of the game, it was driving me nuts.
While I can definitely sympathize with your frustrations, this type of feedback is best directed to our General forum for discussion. If you have any ideas for improving the honor system, feel free to post on our Suggestions forum.
