I bought a retail copy of the game a year ago under a different account. I cancelled my subsciption after a month or two. Then my friends started playing a couple weeks ago and I used one of thier trial subscriptions to create a new account. I've been playing a couple of days and I like the new character I've created.
Is there any way to move the character from the trial account to the old full account and start the subscription up again? What are my options?

Hi Bledig,
Assuming your details (more specifically your name) on your two accounts are the same then transferring the characters between these accounts should not pose any problem. You can even try transferring the character to the old account prior to re-activating that account. Once successful you can then renew the subscription on it. One thing to keep in mind is that you will want to make any necessary realm transfer as part of this single Paid Character Transfer as once you have moved the character to the new account a further transfer of that character will not be possible for 6 months. Tandaa's clarification is correct. If you have not yet upgraded your new account already you will need to have upgraded it prior to the time of transfer. The easiest way to do this is via the Manage Account link on the World of Warcraft website at:

It sounds like what your saying is its possible to transfer characters from one account to another. I didnt think that was the case (just server to server). So if I have 2 accounts right now(both are and always have been in my name) can I transfer a character from one account to the other ? (all characters are on the same server already).
