Subject: Help, account may be compromised
Hi, I recently logged in to WoW to see one of my alts deleted. This was a bank I held for a guild I used to be in. I used it as my bank. I thought this was strange, but it was empty at the moment, so I didn't really care.

Then, I logged on the forums. It turns out, whoever was on this character asked members of the old guild for ZG coins/bijous, and made a post on the forums pretending to be the leader of that guild. This character has been reported by a player, and I wanted to know if I am responsible for this.

Also, what should I do? Change the password/secret questions? Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks.

You're in luck, Forlex! My associate Batta has taken the liberty of writing up a comprehensive guide as to the steps players may take to restore access to their account in the event that it's compromised; please feel to peruse the document below, and let me know if there is anything more with which we may be of clarification. I wish you the best. :)
