I got hacked about a week ago and the person that gained access to my accoutn deleted every character I had and made a character name Thankyou.
I know what your thinking.. OWNED
k so I Report the comprimised account and they lock my account up. Then I get an e-mail and I have to send them ID and some paper work in order to gain access to my empty account. So I finish that and I get access the next day and I was like WOOT.
Untill I logged on and realized that I still have no characters. /cry
I am a Off Tank for my guild on Anetheron and breaking the news to the guild was not a very pleasent moment. All of the raiding I had been doing was put to an Extreme halt. So then I start to e-mail wowacountadmin@blizzard.com and it takes them about 2 day for them to reply. WTF.
Four days later I get my characters RESTORED WOOT. But my Warrior is gearless. /cry. I run and check my e-mail as fast as I can. I read the e-mail and I see the big
"***NOTE: Item restorations will follow as soon as we are able to do so for certain characters"
I am not to worried now. I have my 60 back I should be able to tank for my guild in the next day or so.... that was 4 days ago. WTF.
So my next questions are... WHAT IS TAKING THEM SO LONG? and Why am I still paying for the account while my characters are useless?[ post edited by Liltomi ]

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience and wish you the very best with your investigation. Thank you for your patience.
But hark, methinks a mortal doth approach...
